Ocean gliders were first acquired by Fisheries and Oceans Canada in year 2017 and 2018 for both the West and East coasts. On the East coast, they have been used to monitor hydrographic sections associated with the AZMP. Here, the AZMP Bonavista Bay transect is occupied from outside the mouth of Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland Canada at (48.733N, 52.967W) in the off-shelf direction approximately 150 nautical miles to the continental slope at (49.85N, 49.5W).\n\ncdm_data_type = Trajectory\nVARIABLES:\ntime (Time elapsed since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z., seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nBBP700 (Particle backscattering at 700 nanometers, m-1 sr-1)\nCDOM (Concentration of coloured dissolved organic matter in sea water, ppb)\nCHLA (Chlorophyll-A, mg/m^3)\nDeadReckoning (Dead Reckoning)\nGLIDER_HEADING (Orientation (horizontal relative to magnetic north) of measurement platform {heading} by compass, degrees)\nGLIDER_PITCH (Orientation (pitch) of measurement platform by inclinometer, deg)\nGLIDER_ROLL (Orientation (roll angle) of measurement platform by inclinometer, deg)\nMFLUV1_NAPH_SCALED (ug l-1)\nMFLUV1_PHE_SCALED (ug l-1)\nMFLUV1_TMP (degree_C)\nMFLUV1_TRY_SCALED (ug l-1)\nNavState (Nav State)\nCNDC (Electrical conductivity, S m-1)\nlatitude (Latitude north, degrees_north)\nlongitude (Longitude east, degrees_east)\nPRES (Sea water pressure, equals 0 at sea-level, dbar)\nTEMP (Sea temperature in-situ ITS-90 scale, degree_C)\n...
